Truth is there are millions and millions of ascetic religious people out there who litterally deprive themselves of all good things.
Plus these millions have a million different beliefs that only they have the truth and everyone else is wrong or basically going to hell in a basket.
So since there is only one truth it means that 999,999 of these ascetics faiths are going to hell anyway or to some sheol of your liking.
So I say WHY BOTHER? :) Never been much of a gambler meself! :)
Just imagine pushing that rock up the hill for eternity with the Eagles singing in the back it was all WASTED TIME!
