Good for the Lord, Bad for my Ass! aka Penn Jillette, CATO & CIE.

What I call the extreme right wing, the do or die, the jungle law.

Who is to say that the trillions spent killing people would not be better used helping people?

the main subject today was, is, as always, something that I have been pondering for a long long time now.

If I was filthy rich would I still hold the same values I cherish today? I cannot tell you my answer until I GET filthy rich if I ever do a bit in the same way that I cannot give you an answer on abortion or euthanasia because one cannot buy personal experience, one has to make a PERSONAL decision when one HAS to cross that bridge otherwise I say mind your own business and stop being a hypocrite trying to control other people’s life.

A lot of those so called religious leaders and activists seem to have a rapist’s mind to me: it’s not about the sex it’s about the POWER, the CONTROL.

As a religious nut in the past I used to despise John Lennon’s Imagine song. Now that I am older I don’t despise it even though I think the Utopic Dream is foolish and hopeless on this planet but, unlike I just heard Penn Jillette call it, I wouldn’t say that it is Commie Shit.

Penn Jillette, Ayn Rand, Republicans, CATO, some so-called libertarians in a way I suppose, and all these extreme Fuck the People right wingers scare me. Do or Die. The Jungle Law and the survival of the fittest, work or croak, earn or kick the bucket or we’ll kick it for you even etc.

Some Libertarians seem to want the liberty to crush and kill and murder and plunder for profit. When most psychopaths are at the helm of corporations they want these heartless psychopaths to rule the world.

All those bean counters that prefer a profit over life, estimating a few deaths will be cheaper than a recall or a scandal.

So to test me all you have to do is give me a billion dollars and see if I will still refuse to show on Oprah! J

Or change my mind on society and government and Americans and the whole damn world!

Truth is I have never really been what they call financially independent but as it is said it does not make me a lesser person. One only has to watch The Unsinkable Molly Brown or read The Great Gatsby among thousands of others.

Truth is there is probably a billion reasons why I have never been financially secure as most of my kinfolks haven’t either.

My life story and my bipolarism added to a gazillion other factors have led me down a strange path and certainly down a different path from other bipolars, especially Stephen Fry who managed to succeed very well on that road, good on him.

But back to the Primary Principle here, The “Essence” of Communism/Socialism to me seems so much better for mankind than Wall Street Greed is Good Capitalism.

I mean I look at the UK, and France and Denmark and Sweden and a few others (Canada? Australia?) and life seems to be more “decent”. Especially Sweden with its no nonsense approach to morality as well. I already hear the foaming at the mouth cry yeah but SIXTY PERCENT? And I say Yes SIXTY PERCENT if we must.

What’s left on 60% off a million?

A mere poor 400 THOUSANDS to live on what a bloody shame it is.

Plus it seems to me also that a life spent on less earned and more enjoyed is not that bad. No worries about luck or health failing is priceless.

The problem with luck though and inheritance is that people foolishly think they earned it or deserve it.

Anyway I am kind of emotionally messed up on the issue since in a World a la CATO, Ayn Rand, Penn Jillette and Cie I would certainly not be here writing this since I would most certainly BE LONG DEAD.

I am not a politician, never studied politics even, just have a vague sense of what right and left mean, but what I do understand is a sense of life and justice as for that pursuit of happiness one should try it in China or India or Brazil even to see if it works.

I really like Penn Jillette don’t get me wrong he is an awesome human being with a great heart but his CATO approach annoys me and I always wonder if and if and if life hadn’t been so good to him, like it hasn’t for many Americans and other citizens of the planet, if he would still hold those foolish beliefs that I Call BULLSHIT! J

So basically I think one cannot have economical globalization without having the sweat shops and children and people abuse by the billions like a bad scene from Zefirelli’s Brother Sun, Sister Moon where Francis of Assisi is literally sick at the sight of poor people working for his dad in horrid conditions.

Economical Globalisation is only promoted by the rich for the rich so again and again the rich can get richer and the poor can get poorer and all Robin Hoods can be arrested now as Terrorists!

Economical Globalisation is heartless and soulless and taking us back to Feudal Mediaeval times: the Corporation as a Seigneur and Lord owning your ass.

Good for the Lord and Seigneur, very bad for my ass though.

Imagine there's no Heaven

It's easy if you try

No hell below us

Above us only sky

Imagine all the people

Living for today

Imagine there's no countries

It isn't hard to do

Nothing to kill or die for

And no religion too

Imagine all the people

Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer

But I'm not the only one

I hope someday you'll join us

And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions

I wonder if you can

No need for greed or hunger

A brotherhood of man

Imagine all the people

Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer

But I'm not the only one

I hope someday you'll join us

And the world will live as one
