Reading Dawkins' God Delusion and barely survived browsing the preface. :) Anyway after chapter 1 here is my short rant.

I could go to town with one paragraph alone in the preface, preface by cashin Dawkins Himself.

Among the more effective immunological devices is a dire warning to avoid even opening a book like this, which is surely a work of Satan.

But I believe there are plenty of open-minded people out there: people whose childhood indoctrination was not too insidious, or for other reasons didn't 'take', or whose native intelligence is strong enough to overcome it. Such free spirits should need only a little encouragement to break free of the vice of religion altogether.

Well if Satan WAS to work, he too would REEK of condescending arrogance.

Do you catch many suckers with weasel words like this in this “enlightened” age?

Same attitude with McGrath, asking with a fake civilised smile on his first question How do you feel being associated with such persons? (Speaking of course of all the atrocities that have been done in the name of religion) to which I would have answered how do you feel being associated with Staline and Mao? Are we counting the dead bodies here to see who fucking wins? Mine is bigger than yours puerile attitude.
